Mom’s Advice Followed in Interior Design

When it comes to design, our mom’s know best. Not every time of the year but most of the time our moms have an excellent eye for what works and what doesn’t. So here we are to remind you of some of the best interior design lessons you need to learn from your mama.

  • “Create a space that makes you happy.”

Every mom worries about their child being worried about the latest trends and designs. “Whatever may be your personal style – you should embrace it.” She said. What my mom means here is to choose the colour that makes me happy and not to be afraid to bling it up, if that brings me joy. So let this be the encouragement you need to create a home that reflects who you truly are.

  • “Never be afraid to mix colours and patterns.”

Editing one or two items in the space can make a huge difference. The one or two items can be any curated item like a pillow, art or any other accessories. When done the right way, it can add a lot of dimension and liveliness to a room.

  • “Be bold and true to yourself.”

Mom knows the best when it comes to their kids. The best advice I have ever got is to be bold and true to yourself. This is truly reflected in the designs as a physical form of being bold and serving the exact purpose.

  • “Surround yourself with things you love.”

Mom sure knows how to keep their child happy. It’s the simple approach of design with sophistication towards the child. Now that we have grown, I have come to realize the need for sophistication in designs. This helps us build places for our clients with all their needs in one place.

These are just a few of the advice I have received. If you can add more to this, do let us know in the comment section below.
